Location: New Jersey (In-Person / Hybrid depending on your preference)
Oversee hiring, onboarding, payroll, and HR operations while ensuring the right people are recruited, integrated, and supported to perform at a high level as the company scales.

Role Mission
The HR Manager will build and manage the internal systems that power our team.
You will oversee:
- Hiring funnel management
- Recruiting and candidate screening
- Team onboarding processes
- Payroll management
- HR documentation and systems
- Culture reinforcement and team development
Your job is to ensure that as the company grows, the right people are hired, integrated, and supported to perform at a high level.

Responsibilities & Expectations
Hiring & Recruiting
- Manage the full hiring funnel
- Post and manage job listings
- Screen candidates
- Coordinate interviews
- Identify strong cultural and skill alignment
- Build talent pipelines
Team Onboarding
- Build and manage structured onboarding systems
- Ensure new hires integrate smoothly
- Coordinate onboarding training
- Maintain onboarding documentation
People Operations
- Maintain HR systems and employee documentation
- Manage internal team processes
- Support leadership with team development initiatives
- Reinforce company culture and standards
Payroll Management
- Manage team payroll
- Track contractor payments
- Ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain payroll documentation
Required Experience & Skills
Required
- 3+ years experience in HR, People Operations, or Recruiting
- Experience managing hiring funnels
- Experience with payroll administration
- Experience supporting growing teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred
- Startup or fast-growing company experience
- Experience with remote teams
- Experience in health, wellness, coaching, or service businesses
- Familiarity with HR or hiring platforms
Compensation
Salary Range:
$80,000 annually
